Justin Sun’s Forbes article prompts geography lesson from Liberland

A Forbes article on Justin Sun, the founder of Tron and prime minister of pro-blockchain micronation Liberland, prompted a correction from the small self-proclaimed country after it claimed that it’s in Croatia.  Liberland’s X account described Forbes’ geographical snafu as a “small error,” before clarifying, “The territory of Liberland is not located in or claimed by Croatia.” The magazine also reports that Sun is still identifying as “His Excellency,” a title that came with his Granada ambassadorship role. This is despite the fact that he lost his Grenadian ambassadorship back in 2022.  With his boyish looks, bad behavior and billions, Justin Sun is the crypto O.G. industry ideologues love to hate. “In my 20s I was just trying everything,” he says. “Why not?” https://t.co/yPvOq94ME9 pic.twitter.com/gUPfmmGmXI — Forbes (@Forbes) March 27, 2025 Read more: Former Grenada ambassador Justin Sun is entering a world of pain Liberland is located on a 7...

Tron: How High Will TRX Surge In March 2025?

Image
Justin Sun’s Tron (TRX) network was making headlines yet again. The asset made a major comeback in 2024 after it witnessed a 65% uptick. TRX went from trading at a low of $0.1056 all the way to a high of $0.4407. This surge came as a much-needed respite for the altcoin. But similar to the rest of the market the asset failed to maintain this uptrend. The Tron network, in the meantime, was seen boosting its utility and rolling out developments. This further led to the community betting on TRX’s rise in March 2025. Also Read: Top 3 Cryptocurrencies To Buy If You Like Shiba Inu How Is Tron’s TRX Faring At The Moment? Coinbase Withdraws Support for Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC) As BTC Careens Below $100,000

Top US-based crypto exchange platform Coinbase is removing support for Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC) as the crypto king crashes below six figures. In a new thread on the social media platform X, Coinbase Assets says it has disabled trading services for wBTC, the tokenized representation of Bitcoin (BTC) on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain, as the digital asset no longer meets the firm’s listing standards. “We have disabled trading for wBTC. Your wBTC funds will remain accessible to you, and you will continue to have the ability to withdraw your funds at any time.” Coinbase – which first announced its decision to drop support for wBTC in November – said earlier this week that Tron (TRX) founder Justin Sun being associated with the digital asset was an “unacceptable risk.” Last week, Coinbase was sued by wBTC custodian BiT Global – a firm associated with Sun – for allegedly using wBTC “cash grab” before ultimately creating its own ve...

Justin Sun affiliated TrueUSD market cap collapses 50% in 7 days

Image
TrueUSD , the dollar-pegged stablecoin affiliated with Justin Sun , has seen its market cap collapse more than 50% from $1.29 billion on March 15 to $615 million on March 22, according to data from CoinMarketCap.  This mass redemption of TrueUSD follows Binance’s delisting of several TrueUSD pairs on March 15. TrueUSD spent much of February struggling to maintain its peg, falling as low as $0.95. TrueUSD’s market cap has collapsed from $1.29 billion to $615 million during March. A review of the attestations provided by TrueUSD also seem to show that it no longer has United States treasury bills in its reserves. The remaining funds are split between approximately $200 million held “at a Hong Kong depository institution, a Swiss depository institution, and Bahamian depository institutions” and approximately $500 million held at First Digital Trust Limited. First Digital Trust has also launched its own stablecoin, FDUSD, which has seen its own market cap...
