Scammer Briefly Hacks Litecoin’s X Account, Promotes Fake LTC Coins Based on Solana (SOL)

A hacker briefly gained access to Litecoin’s X social media account to fraudulently promote that LTC is now available on the popular smart contract platform Solana (SOL). In a new thread, the developers of the decentralized peer-to-peer network warn investors about the breach but note that the team immediately regained access to Litecoin’s official X account. “Litecoin’s X account was briefly compromised today and posts that were not authorized were published. These were live only for a matter of seconds before being deleted. We’re still investigating the issue, but immediately found a delegated account that was compromised and removed it. AT&T paid hacker 6 bitcoins to film deletion of stolen data

AT&T reportedly paid a Hack er 5.7 Bitcoin s worth $373,646 to film themselves deleting tens of millions of customer phone calls and texts stolen from the US-based telecommunications giant. The company revealed on Friday that the data of “nearly all” of its 109 million AT&T Wireless customers was stolen by the ShinyHunters crypto ransomware group in April through its account at cloud data firm Snowflake. According to WIRED, a 5.7 bitcoin transaction took place on May 17. Thunder Terminal suffers hacker attack, losses amount to $240k

Multi-chain trading platform Thunder Terminal has suffered a hacker attack, saying a malicious actor gained access to a MongoDB connection. In an X post on Dec. 27, Thunder Terminal acknowledged the breach, stating that the hacker gained access to a MongoDB connection URL. This access allowed the intruder to retrieve session tokens and execute withdrawals on behalf of users. The attack concluded at 12:20 AM UTC, Dec 27, after all session tokens and transaction signing access were revoked for security reasons, Thunder Terminal said.
